长期从事伤口愈合研究工作,利用细胞生物学、分子生物学和动物实验等方法解析了多个非编码RNA(noncoding RNA,ncRNA)在伤口愈合中的表达变化、功能、分子机制和治疗应用,揭示了新的慢性创面不愈合和病理性瘢痕的病理生理学机制。如今这些分子已成为研发新型慢性创面和瘢痕治疗药物的重要靶点。以通讯作者或者第一作者在Cell Stem Cell、Nature Communications、Journal of Clinical Investigation、PNAS、Journal of Investigative Dermatology、Burns & Trauma等知名学术期刊发表多篇SCI论文,引用超过4000次。
